I have installed LCD monitors in many libraries and it is often a great solution to a space crunch. I would definitely recommend that you buy screen protectors to help cut down on potential damage to the screen. This is an example that you can get at Office Depot http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?level=SK&id=484228

The other thing is to be sure that you have a screen saver installed because the screens do have more a problem with burning than regular monitors. I would recommend turning them off at night as well to cut down on wear. Happy shopping.
