Favorite series/author

During each of the 9 weeks of our summer reading program, we will feature a book series that made a lasting impression on us as children. We'll give a special prize to kids who read a book from that series that week. We'll likely do Beverly Cleary. I'm leaning toward Mrs Piggle-Wiggle and also thinking of trying to get somebody to read the Danny Dunn books.
Anyone else have any ideas?

Ooh, good idea! I only recently read those.
Thanks for coming on over. As you can see, it's pretty quiet here, but maybe we New Mexicans can get it jumping. Please start a topic if you think of one.
