The Conference

The purpose of the conference is to consider the trends affecting public libraries from the smallest to those serving populations up to 500,000 people. Library directors, staff, trustees, and all who are concerned about the present and future direction of public libraries are encouraged to attend.

Fees

The $75 conference registration fee includes three breakfasts, three breaks, and the Wednesday evening reception. Registration questions can be directed to the Clarion University Department of Continuing Education at 814-393-2227.

Housing

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn on the Lane, Columbus, Ohio. If you require lodging, telephone the hotel directly at 614-294-4848. Indicate that you are attending the "Clarion University Conference" to obtain the conference rate of $89, single of double, plus tax. Free round-trip van service is available from the airport in Columbus. Please phone the hotel from the baggage claim area for connections.
