A Descriptive Survey of Illinois’ Digital Collections research project endeavors to understand digital collections as they exist in the State of Illinois in spring 2009. Public, academic, special and museum libraries completed a questionnaire regarding their organizational type, collection description, selection process and planning, searchability and sharability, marketing, maintenance and sustainability.
