ANNOUNCEMENTS  

Secretary of State and State Librarian Jesse White has announced that the Illinois State Library is one of 33 institutions nationwide selected to receive a Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program grant to develop an institute where Illinois librarians can enhance their technology and leadership skills.
INSTRUCTOR AND MENTOR SELECTION:

Please be advised.  The announcement of instructor and mentor selections has been delayed.  Please understand that, as a new program, ILEAD U will adhere as closely as possible to the announced schedule, but some delays are unavoidable because the process is untested.  The announcement will be made as soon as possible.

 
UPDATED APPLICATION DEADLINES:

October 30, 2009 Mentor/Instructor Applications are due to the Illinois State Library

November 16, 2009 Mentor/Instructor Applicants will be notified of ILEAD U Program acceptance

November 23, 2009 ILEAD U Participant Teams Application DUE today

January 8, 2010 ILEAD U Participant Teams Notified of  program acceptance
