Connie -- Have you read the book that is promoted on the "site." It looks interesting. I am going to see if any libraries have it.

The October issue of Computers in Libraries is a theme issue with articles on the subject. I found "Making Web 2.0 Work" starting on page 14 a particularly good article that might be helpful to those who are working on ILEAD U team applications.

Synergy vs ILEAD U

Hi Beth:

ILEAD U is not intended to replace Synergy. The grant has been modeled after Synergy but that is where the relationship ends. The outputs will be totally different from that of Synergy.

I saw the announcement that the Illinois State Library is one of 33 institutions nationwide selected to receive a Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program grant to develop an institute where Illinois librarians can enhance their technology and leadership skills. Congratulations ISL! I was wondering though if ILEAD U will replace Synergy or if Synergy will continue. Thanks for your assistance!
