Col. Patrick provides an explanation of the Library of Congress' Veterans History Project and discusses how libraries can facilitate this important project to preserve the contributions of our veterans.

Mr. Popowitch discusses conducting oral histories, including how to prepare the history, explanation of forms required by the Library of Congress, and equipment needs. In addition, he shares tips and experience in conducting these histories. The presentation handout is available for download .

Mr Ruda shares his experience with Audacity software to record oral histories. He also shares tips on using the software and how to obtain the Audacity software. Audacity software can be downloaded.
