Creating Great Programs: Libraries and Communities Together

Libraries throughout Illinois provide programming for Illinois citizens of all ages. These programs are often the result of libraries working in cooperation with one another and with other community agencies. On Illinois WebJunction, we will strive to share with you some of the great programming ideas and resources, and we hope that you will help us by suggesting additional ideas and resources.

This is a new topic at WebJunction, designed to capture discussions and content around programming for the general patron community. We’re looking for good articles, links, handouts, worksheets, and audio or video files to share under the Documents tab, as well as volunteers to contribute to this area of the site.

If you’re already a WebJunction member, feel free to join our discussions, share your content here, and let us know if you’d like to be the editor for this section.

For programming specific to a particular patron type such as children, teens, business, or Spanish speakers, please visit those sections under Populations Served.
