FY2010 Live and Learn Construction Grant Program

The Illinois State Library FY2010 Live and Learn Construction Grant Program awarded by Secretary of State Jesse White information is now available on the Illinois State Library website.  This year we are requiring that libraries submit a Statement of Interest to apply for a grant.  The Statement of Interest must be submitted no later than Monday, November 2, 2009 with the full application to be submitted by Friday, January 15, 2010.

All information and forms regarding the FY2010 construction grant program are on the Illinois State Library web site. 

Current grant offerings include $50,000 matching grants for accessibility projects, $25,000 non-matching Mini-Grants for libraries with limited funds, and matching grants of up to $125,000 for new construction, additions, remodeling or conversions.  On going announcements will be published in the weekly e-newsletter of the Illinois State Library.
