I Read from ILA
The Illinois Reading Enrichment and Development program (IREAD) is a coordinated, self-supporting effort between Illinois librarians and the Illinois Library Association(ILA) to develop and provide high quality, low cost resources and products to enable local library staff to motivate children to read. For over 20 years Illinois librarians have shared their talents and creativity to create a statewide summer reading program.
The theme for the 2009 IREAD reading program is Read on the Wild Side. The 2009 campaign features the artwork of Patrick Girouard, for children and Gene Ha, for young adults.
You can order 2009 IREAD merchandise from a special ILA site.
